That's wholesale hogwash! ONLY under the Mosaic Law was blood treated as some sort of sacred substance. According to the Bibles I've read Christians are not under Mosaic Law.

Demon attacks on JW in past, where'd they go?

in the 80's and 90's (maybe even earlier) i remember hearing lots of witnesses talk about "demon attacks".

whether it was someone studying the bible who then started having strange things happen in their house to people bringing stuff home from yard sales and getting personal attacks and horrible dreams resulting in them dystroying stuff they brought home or getting rid of it.. .

i also remember hearing a sister say she had to pray in a home with a study because the study started to get attacked.

In the world of JW issues/concerns come and go based on what comes and goes in Watchtower teaching.

Demon activity used to be trumpeted by Watchtower. Today it's not. So today JWs don't report incidence of demon attacks like they did formerly.

What about GOD'S 'Blood policy'?

From Noah to the Apostles?

Deny the meaning of the word "Abstain"?

God's "Blood policy" expressed to Noah and, according to Watchtower, reiterated in the Apostolic Decree was to abstain from EATING blood of animals slaughtered to eat them as food.

Otherwise Noah was free to do whatever he wanted with blood of animals he killed for food whenever he wanted to do it.

Oh, and one other important thing: Nowhere was Noah required to abstain from eating blood of animals that died of themselves (that is: deceased animal carcasses found dead of causes CREATED BY GOD, like old age).

Biological cellular tissue is eventually catabolized by the body but this is a destructive metabolism rather than a constructive metabolism. (I.e., catabolism is not nutrition) Because biological cellular structures influence new (replacement) cellular growth of tissue then anti-rejection therapy is necessary to different extents based on transplanted tissue, when a transplant occurred and the expected life of transplanted tissue.

Ironically, the very fraction ("serum") Watchtower spoke of in its response to the R. Jensen letters is demonstrated to be a blood fraction which transfusion of actually does offer parenteral nutrition. WHEN WAS THE VERY LAST ARTICLE ON BLOOD IN EITHER THE WATCHTOWER OR THE AWAKE?

there's been a buzz on this forum - on and off but currently on - that there has not been an article in any watchtower publication on the blood ban for a while - which feeds speculation that the organization is distancing itself from this doctrinal absurdity.

does that mean there's been nothing mentioned about the blood doctrine for months or years?

specifically, when did the watchtower last mention the blood ban?

it's usually linked to a story of how they were wronged and want some revenge.

do these 'in your face' attempts to convince people that the truth isn't the truth really have an effect?.

A new start? Watchtower renaming at HQ Columbia Heights

who was in any doubt that our jw believe is a marketing model, see this pictures of the still existing hq of jw at columbia heights.. earlier comments on jwn that something is going to change in the organisation, these comments are true.. in a few years we will not talk about the watchtower society, we wil talk about jw.org.

i think the current leadership will make a transfer to a new start.

Watchtower is about Watchtower. Nothing more. Nothing less. It's a business being run like a business.
